The White Stripes

Friday night, I attended a great event at Salty's restaurant on Alki. Sonja's coworkers were having an end of year event. Excellent seafood and drinks. I learned that you can substitute tequila for vodka and make a mighty fine "Bloody Maria."

Then later Andy and Jill showed up. Andy and I played Hammer of the Scots (er shall I say I got played). Lets also confirm that Andy can drink alcohol without hangovers. He is a bit larger than me but still he should have had at least a little headache the next day.

Yesterday I rocked around YouTube.com getting educated about a band that has been rocking below my radar for like 7 years: The White Stripes. Let me just say that I am really impressed! You can really feel that Rock in their veins. They are a brother/sister duo from Detroit that keeps it real despite the fame. Watch a few clips of them here and here.
