Today I enjoyed one of the best parades ever. The Seattle Solstice Parade is Seattle at its finest. They've got naked bicyclists with exquisite body paint starting it off. Then there were belly dancers, marching bands, heavy metal rockers and even the Bush group in chains to end it. Believe it or not its quite family friendly. I really enjoyed the "Love" group who came down the street giving everyone hugs. This parade and Folklife fest are the best times to come and experience Seattle.
I have got to get a drum to join in and participate next year.Thanks to Jenni, Patrick, Justin, and Catrina for a great day.
